Love the way Saba goes soo low to redirect, using the strength of her legs, and just hit 3 bhand winners in a row
SP for Saba
4 bhand winners to close out the 1st set 62 Saba just great to watch when she is in this type of form

Sabalenka's win means Eala will have to beat 4 of the Top 5 players to win the title.
Eala wont win the title the way Saba is playing, if you actually watched her match today against Jazz? she has to beat Pegula first who has always done well in Miami

SF is a good result for Jaz. She played really well today and likely would have beaten others. Jaz had 19 winners, single digit errors, 3 aces, but Saba was on fire.

One of the best matches Saba has played so far this year, at least Jazz found her game and confidence back making the SF in Miami, lets see how she fares this year on the clay

Eala had SP and goes back to back DFs? is this the first sign of tightness creeping in, she has been playing freely before she was to serve for the 1st set
Pegula gets a break back though she was gifted it, she needs to get more depth on her shots for starters, I know she had a tough late 3 set match with Raducanu last night, she needs to reset her game, she came out flat, also she has to change her game plan for playing a leftie

Pegula breaks, Eala's length of shots too short and her serve 2nd serve is getting the treatment it deserves
Jess and a poor service game, her serve in particular, gets broken out of nowhere, back on serve early in the 2nd set

Jesus Jess what a muck up at the net with your volley, your 1st serve has gone AWOL and you deserved to get broken
Remember when you were up 3-1?
Eala to serve 4-3 a complete turnaround
Jess found her fhand and gets the break back
4 all 2nd set
Pegula with a much better service game leads 5-4
5 games all
What the hell was that shot Jess? didnt land near the court?
Eala is not going away Jess and she will serve for the 2nd set 6-5
Eala wins the 2nd set 75, Jess will have to reset, she was looking tired and flat towards the end of the 2nd set, personally speaking I feel she had to win this match in 2 sets, she was up 3-1 and let Eala back into the 2nd set
Going 3 sets

In a match that went over 2 hours with momentum changes
Pegula will serve for the match 5-3
Half volley pick up from Jess outstanding
Pegula d Eala 76(3) 57 63
Jessica Pegula has her dream come true she is in the final at Miami, where she will play Sabalenka for the title, she dug dip and will have a day off tomorrow
What a run from Eala lets see when she comes into the WTA tour full time, how she fares, with a new ranking of 75.

A upset in the SF of the first womens doubles match, Friday 28th March,
The No 1 doubles team of Siniakova/Townsend were defeated by Busca/Kato 26 75 10-2. Siniakova played poorly in the TB.
Busca/Kato are the first doubles team into the final
The 2nd SF doubles will be played later after both mens SFs
Andreeva/Shnaider vs X.Jiang.F.Wu
Andreeva/Shnaider defeated Jiang/Wu 60 75 and will play Busca/Kato in the Womens Ladies Final on Sunday 30th March

Ladies Singles Final,
Saturday 29th March,
Not before 3pm,

A.Sabalenka (1) vs J.Pegula (4) Sabalenka leads their H2H 6-2

Sabalenka is the sixth player ( this century) to reach both the finals of IW amd Miami back to back., she lost the IW final 2 weeks ago to Mirra Andreeva, but has not lost a set or even been taken to a TB in Miami so far.
Saalenka played a outstanding match against Paolini in the SF 62 62.

Pegula ( lost in the 4th round in IW to Svitolina) has gone the distance in 3 of her five matches.
Pegula defeated WC Eala who had defeated 3 GS champions, in a 3 set match that was won on fine margins by Pegula
Pegula will need her first serve to be 'on' against Sabalenka, earning free points.

Good luck to both ladies!

I don't think I'll make it back in time to watch. Jess will likely get smoked. It's not a good matchup w/ Saba and she can ill afford to drop in one of her clunker games or sets like she did the last 2 rounds.
