Well that was it for Sasha. Can't see him come back from this.

Sinner just a class above everyone right now on HC. I want rivalries and close matches though, not this. Him winning easy gets boring quickly.

This is a classic example of why Alcaraz matches up so well against Sinner. Because he’s one of the few players that just randomly hits explosive shots. Zverev hits hard but it’s all within a rhythm. No way he’s going to present Sinner with problems

Just wait a year and Fonseca will blow away all those posers.

I lost the first two but saw from the third onwards. Not a Zverev specialist but I do feel his game got way more boring after the injury. It was a different player in that match against Nadal.

I was quietly confident of Jannik winning in straight sets, Zverev's serve really keeps him in matches at times

Okay Jannik lets serve this championship out
To me defending a title is harder than winning it

I think he has great potential. It's interesting that both the youngsters Thien and Fonseca fell to the same guy. If I remember correctly Senogo is very mobile with decent footwork? I give Fonseca higher upside potential than Thien, but he'll need to work on that.

Btw... am I the only one who sees a bit of Goffin in Thien?

Sinner won 63 76(4) 63 over Zverev. Sinner never faced a BP all match, he also becomes the first man since Nadal at the USO 2017 to win without facing a BP
3rd GS title
19th Career title
21 consecutive win
23 consecutive set won vs top 10 ( new world record)
Well done young man, you have evolved over the last 12 months and still have room for improvement
