Let's pause for a second. Tsitsipas had 5:1 in 4th set, 6 matchpoints of which 3 consecutive on this serve at 40:0 and not only he managed to blow that, byt he also had a break in the 5th set. This is insane, what is he a K. Mladenovic?

Sure it was luck for Borna Here and Novak in London, but not for bull last year against Daniil at the YEC
Nobody said that Borna won on luck today...he clearly won on guts. There was some bad luck for Stefanos, on line calls, and if you watched the match, you can't deny it. Both things can stand at the same time. As for Nadal beating Daniil at YEC, that was definitely luck. He just hung in and Medvedev self-imploded.

Majority don’t see it like that.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter.
just happy for Borna winning and this Greek Steffi losing.
I hope miss Austria and giraffe will follow soon.

Same reason as for missy thiem, arrogance behaviour cowards too feminine.
Bullshit Russian and than running away, very masculine.
Sorry moxie but you have no psychology skills, your conclusion is bitter and laughable , Nadalfan-like!
There we have it...too "feminine"?? And I'm guessing that the "very masculine" comment is ironic? What's that about? And you say I have no psychology skills... ;)

I'm not the bitter one. You call them all sorts of terrible names regularly in posts. I'm just pointing out that it seems out-sized to their impact on your life as a tennis fan or fan of Novak. And yet they rankle you beyond distraction. I think you've given us some insight, though. Very helpful.

Yes you are the bitter.
Don’t put too much effort into it moxie, it will became quickly ridiculous.
Don’t mix real life with this bullshit here, you have no idea.
Where is your sensitivity gone?

What Majority? Everyone said that Borna played a great match. As to the argument over the Wimbledon 2019, if that's what you mean by "London," I don't know how you didn't expect that would be long-debated with Fed fans. Roger DID choke away two championship points. So Novak was lucky to live to play another game, but he manufactured his own "luck" to win the match and the title. Coric today was a bit "lucky" to escape 6 MPs, (and he didn't save all or even most of them...they were mostly blown by Tsitsipas.) But that doesn't mean that he was just lucky to win. He took his chances when they presented themselves, and he capitalized on them. I think we can hold both notions in our puny little brains about when you get lucky in a match, and when you embrace opportunity in your own right.

I agree. You are right (what else?) and there is no doubt about that.
Ok now?

I'm not bitter. I'm not even angry. I like both of these players. You're the "hater" in this equation...I'm just trying to figure out why. Where is your sense of debate? I think you're protesting too much. Too close to the bone? :face-with-tears-of-joy:

When will Novak pass Pete’s great record of weeks at no1?

Again you are right, damn it;).
I have no more Anglo Saxon words in my repertoire to fight back:face-with-tears-of-joy:.
Wished you were from my side of the world, maybe then you could understand more.

That's an interesting question, because of how they are doing the points, now He's only 3 weeks away, but are the weeks being counted from now? Have they gone to the rolling 2 year system? Points aren't dropping off, for example. Does that mean that weeks at #1 count from the beginning of Cincy, or not?

So Nadal isn’t losing a single point for hiding?
What a lucky guy he is.

Bonaca, you do make me laugh, and I enjoy fighting with you. I'd love to sit down and have a beer with you. Then I'm sure things would be clearer. One of these days....

And not to be too nerdy, but none of us speaks Anglo-Saxon. It's just regular English around here, which you do very well with, especially in the insults and swear words, even when you ***** them out. :face-with-symbols-on-mouth::face-with-tears-of-joy:

Really?! You are gonna insult a person's choice of not playing during a pandemic. What's wrong with you?
What do we know about his reasons? You part of his inner circle?
He could isolate himself for two weeks without a problem.
He knew his highest chance of capturing at least one slam is stay home and sleep on the dirt.
Just imagine if his strategy don’t counters :astonished-face:

Why do we have to know his personal reasons on why he does not want to play the US Open? I do not have any problem on whether or not he plays just like I do not have a problem with Djokovic playing the US Open to win more slam titles. At the end of the day, it's their personal and professional choice to play or not during the pandemic.

Don't insult a person's choice and say, "He is hiding!"
