Fed may have found some form for the rest of the tournament in the last two sets.

Feeling relieved after seeing Federers form improving in this match with much better ROS though he chipped and slice many returns.Would like to see him ripping it on 2nd serves.

Of course the real test will the QF match(assuming he gets through Millman)

very funny man does not change the fact that Djokovic is going to send federer back to switzerland.:lulz1::yesyes::rip:
Djokovic is most likely to send Federer back to Switzerland, and that should not be a surprise. His game is imposing. While I am disappointed that he has denied Federer a number of grand slam titles, he is fun to watch because he plays tennis the way it should be played.

You're foolish if you're hoping for that. If Djoker makes the final he might send your fisherman back to his island in a hurry. A crappy version of Djoker sent him out of London, now a much more confident version is looking far more deadly.

Still a bad sign overall to see clay court specialists like Thiem and Sousa doing well here. But such is life. Thank God they did the right thing and sped up Australia to make up for the USO.

I haven't seen any sign so far that Rafa is in the sort of form that presents a problem to either Novak or Roger here. I'm not sure he gets to the final. Stan seems to be doing ok, and Delpo ain't chopped liver either. The problem with these draws is that we make assumptions which aren't often right. Let's see

Stan was beaten last night by Raonic.

Lol! Shows how much I've been paying attention! Too focussed on the premier league now

I've barely watched more than an hour's worth of tennis total personally. Glad to see Fed through easily today but I only watched around 10 minutes or so. Some great returns in the parts I watched so at least he's tidied up that part of his game as it's the part he needs the most against Novak.

yes agreed. This is about the best he's played since the start of the year. Still not sure he's moving particularly quick as Nick didn't really test that. But so far so good
