I did say that the serve the reason why federer won 20 slams which means why he's won that many, it does not mean I was saying he won all slams with just he's serve, most likely 13 of them have came from federer shot making and the rest with hes serve.
you're not making much sense. I'm sorry to point it out. But for that to work his serve would have to be vastly superior to any other players in history. Otherwise why haven't better servers not done the same and won 7 slams?

Definition of theft --> when the opponent who was clearly playing better end up losing anyway
 He struggled in the 7th game. He held his serve. Later he hit two winners to take the first set. How many times has a player come out blasting and put a champion on his heels to begin a match? A champion finds a way to win; everyone's free to call it theft if they like. Roger's pasting him out there now.

That's how Sampras became the GOAT for about 5 min.! It was all about the serve; specifically his 2nd serve! They devoted a segment of his bio to just that aspect of his game attributing it to his dominance of the tour when he was "on!" :yesyes: :p

Sampras was more dependent on his serve than Roger. And even then his ground game was pretty fierce. That forehand wasn't chopped liver. A bit harsh to say his success was just the serve ;)

I wonder what the odds are at this moment ( set down, 0-5 down) for Nick to win? He is the only guy I would put money down now to beat Roger because he is crazy enough. Anybody else , game over.

I think the stat was like 268-3 when Fed wins the first 2 sets at a major.

Our boy is rolling Fed fans. But what is it about 2 set to love that makes me a bit jittery these days :(

He lost to a much lesser talent from two sets and MP up on a much better surface for him. I don't take anything for granted when Fed gets into the habit of not being able to close out sets/matches.

Nick is dazzlingly talented. If the guy were not a headcase, he would have been my favorite after the retirement of the great one. I could watch him play tennis the whole day, just like I would watch Federer.

Better servers do not move as well federer, or use the court like federer and I did mean mostly not only, for like 5 or 6 slams he won now it is clear that I'm saying so if you don't get it you might be a fed troll who thinks federer, just wins because of he's baseline game.:lulz1::D:yesyes:

Troll? I'm the troll here? Wow! Anyone want to know what we mean by projection. Follow this conversation! :help:

Btw.. it's funny how your estimation of his number of slams won with just the serve keeps dropping down. 20 to 7 to 5 or 6. Keep going... you're almost there now :lulz1:
