My next message will be from London. Eastbourne weather for later next week 26-30 degrees celcius! That is 78-86 Fahrenheit. Shorts are being packed now! Really hoping to sit down and chat with Elena Vesnina and Julien Benneteau on the men's side. Oh yes Sloane my have a chance at Birmingham.

I would not dismiss Flips on the grass in this tournament...she made the s/finals at Wimbledon last year even though Bartoli routed her in their s/final match.

Sorry Sloane - it's almost painful to watch you play such uninspired giving up tennis as you did today 36 16 you lost. You need a menthal coach and a new attitude to tennis. :nono Shuai Zhang (CHN) just did what she's supposed to do - play tennis! - now she's in both singles and doubles semifinals well done :clap

I thought that's why she hired Paul Annacone. It's still pretty early in their teaming up, and results may come in the near future, but quite frankly I don't know why he took the job. (He can't need the money.)

I bet he gets frustrated by her persistent lack of commitment and effort, and leaves. If they're still together by the USO, I'll be surprised.

Sloane searching the Indian restaurants in B'ham. Why do people expect her to play Tennis? She tries that only 4 times a year. How many girls would like to be in her shoes?... being lazy and just milking the WTA ;) She is enjoying the good life and making fun of her career.

Hi everyone, had a long day yesterday from Vancouver Island to Vancouver and then a 9hour10 minute to London, but I am used to it, no jet lag after a good sleep. Will be heading down to Eastbourne tomorrow for day 1 of the tournament, women's qualies continue and men's first round. Weather cloudy at 7:43am today. Will fire you some info as promised, for you in the States will try and get some pics of USA players and of course all the top guns too. Will keep you posted on what I witness at Devonshire Park. Cheerio from Hampstead!:D
