It turns out that rumors of a certain relationship's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy are engaged.
In a lovely little game of social-media He Said/She Said, the bride-to-be announced, "Happy New Year everyone! Rory and I started 2014 with a bang! ... I said YES!!!!" To which McIlroy, a major-winning pro golfer added, "Happy New Year everyone! I have a feeling it's going to be a great year!! My first victory of 2014 #shesaidyes!"
The Spin says congrats on their impending nuptial. Kudos to the betrothed, and may they prosper both on and off the court and the links in 2014.
