Golf's Rory McIlroy dumps tennis golden girl as form dips
For the last two years golfing superstar, Rory McIlroy, and tennis golden girl, Caroline Wozniacki, have been the toast of the glittering sports’ circuit but now after distinct dip in McIlroy’s form, it has been reported that he has ended the relationship in the hope of getting back on course and retaining his former World Number One status.

Danish star, Miss Wozniacki, 23, who once described McIlroy as her "ideal boyfriend", is said to be “absolutely devastated” by the split having only just patched things up following a previous fall out.

If it's really over, it's the best thing. They tried being in love and at the top of their respective sports and could not make it work. An athlete's prime is short-lived. While golfers can play well into their 40's, Rory had momentum w/ 2 major titles and the #1 ranking. He needed to cement his place on top while the iron was still hot.

word is that was the last straw for rory, she likes any sort of publicity going but he just does the publicity required that goes with being a top golfer dealing with 21 century media..

Tennis champ Serena Williams has broken her silence about her romance with Common, blaming the rapper/actor for the break-up of their relationship.

The couple was rumored to have ended its two-year relationship in April and the hip-hop star recently confirmed he was no longer dating Williams by insisting he was "definitely single." The sporting ace has been quiet about the break-up since the news surfaced but she has opened up about the failed romance in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine.

Williams admits their busy careers often got in the way of spending time together, but claims it was Common who refused to put in the extra effort to make their relationship work.

She tells the magazine, "His schedule is actually worse than mine. He didn't want the responsibility. It's really tough."
