Head to Head:

1. Fed vs. Wawrinka 14-2.

Both of Wawrinka's wins were on outdoor clay courts and actually both were in Monte Carlo.

2. Novak vs. Kei 2-2.

Two of these four matches were played this year, actually after July; They are tied in that too.

This makes it the second successive year when two Swiss Blokes are in SF. Last year, they
were in same group and so played in different semifinals.

Current odds for winning WTF as of 5 p.m. EST on Friday (after all RR matches are over)

Novak Djokovic 4/9
Roger Federer 5/2
Kei Nishikori 17
Stan Wawrinka 22

Works out to about 70% for Novak, 29% to Fed and about 1% for the rest of the field.

Top 4 (bar absent Nadal) in the world in the semis - so no real surprise.

A bit of an uncomfortable situation for the Swiss to play each other, seeing as they are friends and will play together in DC next week. But I imagine they will keep things cool, entertaining and respectful.

Hopefully Nishikori is relatively healthy and we see a better match than in Paris, but No1e has been so good this week, it's difficult to see Kei beating him.

Respectfully,
masterclass

I am smelling a huge stink of an upset!

Who will it be?

Nah... It'll be Rog vs. Nole, like the whole year has been.

Novak and Roger have been the only two players, who had played good consistent tennis at the Yec,both will make the final.

Novak blaming another fan for his own getting tight on a second serve. Could get interesting here, this set...

Nole is too strong on this stuff. I think he will right the ship and win this set 6-4 or easier.

Nole really needs to get this crowd thing under control. It unneccesarily affects him, and he needs to accept the people want to see a match and ignore the idiots. Cost him the 2011 SF against Federer too.

It's the match that ended The Streak and caused Federer to waggle his annoying little finger going to the net.
