So riddle me this. Last season 2 players that Mourinho discarded - Salah and De Bruyne - were the best players in the premier league. Now we watch Pogba playing like he can. Something Mourinho is constitutionally unable to get him to do. What does that say about Mourinho I wonder. It also makes me wonder if such talents like Rashford and Martial aren't going to be ruined by him

I wouldn't say they were lucky. To be honest that was the result I expected. France are just all round so strong. Can't see anyone in the other half beating them. And that makes me sad as I obviously want England to win

Mourinho is stubborn. He is wasting Pogba by playing him as a holding midfielder. I have heard rumours that Pogba may leave Man U.

Martial wants to leave too. Because of Mourinho, Martial didn't even make the squad. I can only imagine how he must be feeling watching this

They had the luxury to leave out someone like Kalinic from the 23 that went to the world cup.

I agree. Very very strong midfield. If it had be a couple of years earlier Mandzukic might be more frightening, but he's actually been going deeper and deeper here. More like another midfielder to be honest. Don't get me wrong they're good. Just not as good as most are saying. If they had a bit more pace they would be more scary to me. I think the match up could help England. But on the flip side, France are exactly the sort of team that beats England. I don't think we have any answers for the lethal pace of Mbappe. Anyway I have to try to stop myself from getting ahead of myself. I just hope we play our best, and that should mean we beat Croatia

England out, thank god. Football saved from the arrogant brits and the ridiculous hype. I feel sorry for the young English football players but not their crazy tards getting in our faces with that awful song its coming home.

Croatia France is a good final. Two best sides of their halves specially Croatia easily. May the best team win the final!

It's o.k. Moxie. We're British. We're used to losing. :0) I don't even personally remember the last time we won the world cup as I wasn't born until the early 80's. I think I remember people saying it was in '66 though. You know what I'm like for talking about stuff that happened before I was born & because some of them aren't history class subjects it makes me sound old. Lol.

No excuses for England today. They had everything in their favour, tired and tense Croatia. England had the lead too so have to say England choked. Exposed by the first good team they faced.
