We will have you sit on your bench now for 30 minutes, examine you to the best of our ability and make sure you are OK. We cannot risk any complications. Sure, you will leave your team a man (!) short for half an hour, but that is a risk we are willing to take, so long as you are OK"

I think he is so desperate to be the new Pele, Romario or Ronaldo. In the national team, Brazilians rarely dribble, unless they have to. They prefer to share the ball because they can all play it.

This is the perfect situation for Martinez. He's a shockingly bad manager putting together a defence. But when you have the quality the Belgians have even he can't mess it up. This is actually reminding me of his first season at Everton, with David Moyes's defensive set up. That team did really well.
