In case the football gods are listening, here is the remedy for the dives and the guys that fall on the pitch as if they were shot by a sniper, rolling in pain, punching the grass but they start running like a gazelle the second they enter the game again: As soon as one of these scenarios happen, the ref goes to the guy and says "Listen, your health is the most important thing to us and you look like you are in a lot of pain. We will have you sit on your bench now for 30 minutes, examine you to the best of our ability and make sure you are OK. We cannot risk any complications. Sure, you will leave your team a man (!) short for half an hour, but that is a risk we are willing to take, so long as you are OK"

I am telling you, no more faking or punching the grass :)
I love it! :D

England progressing is the worst thing that can happen in this WC. Cowardice football, arrogant tards, just an awful sporting nation in general. A bunch of underperforming, overhyped, strawberry eating clowns.

I really hope Sweden can save this WC from this abomination. Now I'm regretting Spain going out of this WC cause even if England lucked their way to the SF, Spain would've taken out this underperforming trash. Iniesta and co would've destroyed them. Seriously Russia, what did you do?

Nothing more beautiful than England getting thrashed in WC and choking on their own tears.

France are doing the business. Wasn't a particularly captivating game, but it was what was required. They look the stand out team to me

France won because Cavani didn't play. Disgusting result though, seeing that arrogant Mbappe acting like a clown didn't help. He should've got a red card.

Uruguay should've won today, they deserved it more they were the better team.

I don't even like Brazil but they really need to save the WC.

bit of a wobbly start from Belgium. Hopefully they'll be smart enough to realise they're actually stronger than Brazil

Neymar has already lost the ball twice doing useless dribbles. The coach should tell him to stop doing that. I suspect his teammates don't have the guts to tell him.

Agreed. It worked well for him in Brazil, but he was better with his distribution then. Here I'm really not sure he makes this team better

I think he is so desperate to be the new Pele, Romario or Ronaldo. In the national team, Brazilians rarely dribble, unless they have to. They prefer to share the ball because they can all play it.

Beginning to look like Brazil-Germany in 2014.

Yes that's exactly it. I think he had to restrain himself in Brazil. There would have been an uproar. Anyway... 2 nil. This Brazilian team ain't coming back from this I don't think

This is the perfect situation for Martinez. He's a shockingly bad manager putting together a defence. But when you have the quality the Belgians have even he can't mess it up. This is actually reminding me of his first season at Everton, with David Moyes's defensive set up. That team did really well. The moment he had to put his input into it though Everton were rubbish

It should've been 1-1 at half time or atleast 1-0. Brazil haven't played that bad to be down 2 goals.
Disgusting luckgium.
