That was outrageous. It seems like they do not want to use VAR when it comes to off the ball incidents. For them, VAR is only for penalty kicks and goals. There is still a lot of room for improvement in the use of VAR.

I actually think Neymar's reputation hurt him on this one because it was definitely exaggerated and over-the-top (and he's been verging on unwatchable this tournament due to his antics), but that should have been at the very least a yellow card.

yes I think you're right. As for the presentation of VAR right now, it amazes me that they haven't incorporated the lessons of other sports. Rugby does it perfectly and it engages the crowd. They should learn from that. It's far more transparent
