Blame it on Denis, he played poorly for a big chunk of the season, thus fell out of the top 32. By being unseeded, he could have been drawn anywhere. Anyway, I hope at least he makes his first final of an event, tonight. It pisses me off even more that Shapo is finding some sort of form and him or FAA has to lose in the first round of the Open...Darn...
100% ! Both should have been seeded. Shapo had a horrible year.Blame it on Denis, he played poorly for a big chunk of the season, thus fell out of the top 32. By being unseeded, he could have been drawn anywhere. Anyway, I hope at least he makes his first final of an event, tonight.
He will play Hurkacz, who just beat Tiafoe.
Goodness me, Paire defeated Johnson with 1-6, 6-0, 6-0
I saw him play Djoke earlier this year. He's coming on. He's got alot of variety. He just has to force himself to be aggressive and not get lulled into pushing. Pretty good serve and topspin on his groundies so he can stay relevant in the rallies. I'm happy for him. He gets his first title, but a quick turnaround as he has to play Chardy on Mon.Who’s watching? Never paid much attention to any Hurkacz matches until today
