So a friend of mine is going Monday, does anyone know at what time you need to start queuing to get in and get good tickets?

Billy was right, this is a Fedal forum.

Any open conversation about men's tennis is going to look a bit "fedal." That's just a question of time at the top and fan-base. If Djokovic fans want to make more of a presence here, then they have to show up, and not fade away. Invite your friends. Suggest people come here from Djokovic fan-sites. We'd LOVE it if more Djokovic fans came and participated. I feel bad that our Nole fan base has diminished. It would be more interesting if the conversation were more balanced. (That said, I will also call out to Murray fans. Iona can't do it alone!)

I'm OK with being the only Murray fan on here. I like tennis fans to respect Andy and I think in general they do. Each to their own though. That's not to say I wouldn't be happy with a few more Murray fans on here. :)

What do you guys think of the poster? A Murray fan posted it on twitter.

Very cool. The shorter hair suits him. He should scrub up better for the slams and come in looking all suave like that at Wimbledon to make a statement  Cool poster.

That is awesome! Double-O Muzza. I think Andy should show up in the break-away tux. Maybe the Queen would agreed to sky-drop onto his first match, too.

It's Tipsarevic birthday. He turned 29 for the first time and took No1e and Troicki to a restaurant somewhere in London for a dinner. The restaurant owner obviously wanted to make something special for the three aces and this is what they got served:

That's very "sweet," and I supposed they were (sweet.) I just wanted to point out that, no matter how many times I've tried to turn 29 again, you only get one go. :snigger

Then I hope your friend is 18, because faking 21 is for teenagers. :D Re-purposing 29 and 39 is where the rubber begins to meet the road.

Ironically, both "Victor" and Janko got a Vamos and they will play against each other in the first round. Should Viktor gets victorious Tipsarevic can say he was jinxed by the owner's misspelling Troicki's first name, that is with K actually, Viktor.

I know of a Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi who dubuted as a 16-year old boy, and nearly 19 years later, he is still 20 years old :D

^ The draw was masterminded by Mastoor as you can imagine ;)

:clap Thank you Mastoor! :clap

Thanks also for putting in some interesting first round matches. I appreciate Donskoy - Isner (rematch of S'Hertogenbosch) and Hewitt - Wawrinka (which wawrinka will lose I am afraid).

Hanescu is also not an easy first match for the Fedster. I appreciate you giving him the excercise since his run will probably already end in the QF this year.

Question though: why did you put Haas in No1e's quarter?

Well it would be fishy if No1e won the slam by the way of 7 walkovers or something ;), besides Haas is not as hard the opponent as someone may think. No1e will deal with him in straight sets.

I think the outcome could be different than that but we'll see. Tommy will at least take a set here imo and a win wouldn't surprise me at all actually on grass. Haas is great on clay too and played a close tough match against Novak but grass is a better surface for Tommy. An in form Haas serving well (that's the key for Tommy) should be a harder opponent than Berdych imo on grass against certain players like Djokovic. Berdych is obviously tougher for Roger since see has an uncanny read on his serve and plays his best against him.

^ Haas is very good on grass, which is why I think he could be tricky for Novak. Tommy is the better on grass, though Nole is the better, overall. And Berdych had a huge psychological win over Novak in Madrid. For a soft draw, Djokovic could have to face a couple of players who have bested him this year.

I mentioned before that the two things I do not like in Nole's draw is he got Mayer in R1 and most toughest R4 he could have gotten.
That being said, Haas defeated Nole on grass twice in 2009, when Nole was struggling with his serve due to the Todd Martin effect.
Since then, his serve has improved in spades and i hope he will serve well throughout this event, as he should in order to have a chance to win Wimbledon.
If that will be the case, he should be able to defeat Haas on grass, in 3 out of 5.

I read on Wimbledon site hat there are more people for Monday queue
than the allocatable tickets for center court and court one.

"He turned 29 for the first time "

Can a person actually turn 29 more than once?

aha well the earlier the better I guess. No, not myself. Well maybe next week (id like to be there on Monday with all those 4th round matches), depends on a couple of things. You?

For those interested: tonight BBC will air a Andy Murray special at 2025 UK time.

Yes I am going on 27th and hope to see some players I like to watch.
I always like the first week because there are more actions on the outer courts. Good luck to you.
