Anybody thinks Ivo is going to give Andy fits? I am not sure but with him it comes down to a couple of points and Andy might find himself down 2 sets without even being broken. I do not think it will happen though. Andy will find a couple of BPs here and there and take advantage.

Andy is 5-0 lifetime against Dr. Evil including a win in Wimbledon 2012 that went to four sets which included three tie breakers. It won't be easy. Andy will lose at least one set. But, will get it done.

Andy's a very good returner and a little more solid than Jo. ;)

One would think his team will have him mentally prepared to face numerous nonreturnable bombs and wait for the opening... even if its in the tiebreak

It's starting the real test now though someones have it more difficult than others but this week is going to be more interesting and probably will bring more than one surprise

Also they're playing on grass.

Rooting for Dr. Evil...

Among the top players, Fed is very good at handling big servers. I think Andy comes second and before Novak. I am saying this without looking at stats and just based on my feel of their play over the years. Andy is quite good at dealing with big servers. I think Andy will take care of Evil, but I don't particularly care who wins this one.

I hope Simon can take out Berdych. He has 6-4 H2H against Bird. No, I don't like watching Simon Ppay. But, I think SImon will be an easier opponent for Fed in QF.

I like Simon and Berdych. Probably right about Simon being the easier opponent for Fed. I liked the fight back I saw from Berdych when Andujar was pressing him. Looking forward to enjoying this one. :popcorn

Interestingly, Bodo picks Anderson over Novak . I don't know whether he does it just to be a contrarian or really thinks so. Normally, Bodo does not even get into picking business.

I don't really get that pick. KA is 8-43 v. Top 10. He might get a set, if ND plays a distracted TB. I rather prefer Simon over Berdych, but I'd pick Birdman. I hope Bautista-Agut makes a good showing, but he's not beating Roger. Also, I'd like to see Kudla beat Cilic. (Yes, herios, I'm rooting for the US player. :hug ) And I think Kyrgios will over-power Gasquet, as Stan will do to Goffin. Murray to beat Karlovic, and Pospisil, I hope, wins over Troicki, but that could surely go 5.

I think Novak, Fed, Stan and Cilic winning super Monday are probably no brainers and I expect
all these matches to be quite one-sided.

While Andy will win, it will be a tough match.

The other three matches could go either way.

Just a quick note on TV schedule fo US viewers. Tomorrow alone both ESPN and ESPN2 will be airing Wimbledon simultaneously. ESPN will be on from8 a.m. to 3 a.m. and cover centre court exclusively. ESPN2 will be on from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will cover no. 1 court and all other courts. This is because of super Monday. Starting from Tuesday, the coverage will be back to single channel.

It's never actually a "tough match" against Karlovic. It's a matter of withstanding the aces, and breaking when possible. It's not like he's going to be running around. Andy has a great ROS. Karlovic might get one, but it'll be a quick match, in any case.

^Tough as in psychologically maybe. You watch ace after ace go by and you wonder if you will ever get a chance to put a return in the court. Roger has been a master of that, not worrying about the missiles going by, waiting for the opening. Some get totally discouraged. I can actually see Andy talking to himself a lot.
