Two Frenchmen playing up-and-comers: Monfils v. Vesely and Gasquet v. Kyrgios. Could be interesting to see how the young guys do. Not really worried about Rosol repeating v. Nadal, which we discussed on another thread. Rafa will be ready for him.

I see Janowicz plays Hewitt later too. Could be interesting.

Bring on the roof b1tches

Unlikely to affect play tomorrow. At least the roof shouldn't be a momentum-killer in the Nadal v. Rosol match, like last time. :dodgy: :laydownlaughing

In my draw I picked Rusty to smack down the wobbly and inconsistent JJ, to set up a Battle of the Zimmer Frames with Roger. :please:

Yeah, won't be an issue tomorrow or today here as it's after 2am. Annoying for weekend matches though.

Quite possible he'll beat him alright and it'd be nice to see Hewitt go further than usual on his best surface. He was unlucky last year that Brown played extremely well. JJ's just won a 5 setter so he's clearly not playing great. Guess it'll depend on (a) how he serves and (b) how Hewitt returns. Kinda torn between wanting Hewitt to do well and JJ not losing a ton of ranking points. His game has already gone to crap enough without dropping an absolute ton of points.

On grass, you never know with Hewitt. And I'll admit I have been in the JJ-camp, so I'd like to see him pick it up, but I'm going sentimental on this one. If Roger and Lleyton could get to each other, on grass, it would be like a swan song for their 'rivalry.' (By this, I mean on Hewitt's part.) I don't think for one minute that Rusty would win it, but it would be great to see one more between them on grass, for auld lang syne.

And who is this Ante Pavic that's playing F. Lopez? Anyone have a scouting report on the guy? He's no kid.

Tented has shown us that Rafa is pretty stalwart when it comes to a grudge match:

It probably IS a bit personal. That's why I'd be surprised if Nadal doesn't show Rosol the door rather quickly. He's done it more than a few times when faced with a nemesis. ;)

Should be a great day of tennis. I'll be focusing on the two Aussie affairs and the Nadal/Rosol match.

Anybody else think Ferrer looks like a young Robert De Niro in the picture on tennis.com? Scroll down just a few...
