^ Nope. It's official, they are moving Halep there. I see it listed on the website under Order of Play

Yes that was their plan all the time, just giving the expensive tickets on center court a bigger reward I guess.

Probably. But more than anything, they had to schedule just 3 matches today because they never know how long the men will go. Some men's matches can turn into marathons and it backs the entire schedule up.

Simona, one "very" too many. She said she wants "to go very very far in this tournament" in the after match interview. People will think she is arrogant, ;) needs to think more in English and less in Romanian. She knows what I mean... :)

An average match by Simona which is a good thing. She didnt have bad moments.

I don't think it's an arrogant way to phrase it. I think it's expressing confidence and determination. I like it. :)

It depends on how you look at it :)
She got me so spoiled. I was watching her game and her quality shoots looked like a routine to me. She got me spoiled.

Um, she's not incorrect, it counts as a loss.

Si, I agree with your statement that Halep will be Serena's successor. I really think she will reach number one.

Good performance by the Americans! Woz is playing much better now than the last couple of years. Happy to see her not letting Rory impede her tennis.

Simon Reed is a completely biased and annoying commentator. Can't stand him.

1) Simon Reed is a he, not a she.
2) So Simona lost fair and square because she couldnt play and retired? This reminds me of "other TF forums" where sense and reality are sometimes rare ;)
You make it look as if Beck was better on that match  Simona won the 1st set and retired early at the start of the 2nd set... I am moving on from this issue

It was just tongue in cheek and arrogant of me to call Simona the "next Serena". I was kidding.
Simona has a long long way to go until she is considered the next Serena. She is not even close to that yet.
It will be very tough for Simona to get to NO.1. Vika is on a come back, Cheatpova fights like crazy and all the other players want to scalp Simona. It wont be easy at all. Not to mention Serena herself...

Caro looks lively than before, I get a good vibe from her. She matures :)

He is a big fan of Simona so I excuse him ;) He just didnt check his data this time. Should have said "retired", not "lost".

Si, I never said Simona will be the next Serena. That is impossible. By successor, I meant she will at some point become number one. It will be a few years from now when Serena and Pova are retired or no longer competitive. Let's see whether my prediction comes true.

Sorry to see Vika exit. She should be fine for the hard court swing.

Looking forward to Venus vs Petra, Ivanovic vs Lisicki
