Who Are the Most Likely Players to Pull Off the Serena Calendar Year Slam Upset? :devil

Let's have a little fun with this. Even if you don't believe anyone can stop her, who would you vote for?

* All the players with an asterisk have defeated her in a slam.

Should it happen, I'd have to go with Vika. She's the one who has beaten Serena before, has the experience of winning a GS herself, and always comes onto court with the belief she can beat Serena. The main question is her health/body.

I too will go with Vika. But just as tented her physical condition seems suspect.

none of these women will pull off an upset at this event this year maybe in 2016....#22 is set in stone.I think there will be a first time finalist from the bottom half..
Vika of 2012 would have done it...today she looks a little out of shape and this posturing will not get her anywhere.

I am saying Madison Keys could do it. Vika also could be a problem.

Imo anyone can beat her. She can't keep up this coming from a set and a break down to win in 3 forever. I don't think she's winning this tournament personally. A muck serving performance and her whole game goes to pieces and then it's curtains if someone halfway good capitalizes on her unforced error fest.

well so far she has a bageled someone and by the looks of how she played her first set she is marching on.I may sound too sure but I am always spot on on Serena s chances...
Serena is not nervous she overcame nerves at Wimbledon with the Serena Slam...right now she is defending a title and will defend...

Serena played her in AO15 when she had a cold and still beat...Keys doesnt have the mental strength to beat a healthy Serena...plus she has to go through Aga who will confuse her BBasher mentality..:popcorn

Bencic could do it. Wouldn't that be something if Martina Hingis' protege stops Serena's Slam?

I can't go with Vika. We are expecting her first title of the year to be a slam? Serena can do it. I am not quite convinced Vika can come out of nowhere and have her first title of the year be a slam. I think if anyone does it, it will be Bencic or Halep.

I like Serena but just stating I don't personally think she's gonna win this. Reckon she's due a letdown. Re bagels...doesn't really mean a whole lot when there are so many WTA matches where players get bageled. Even washed up Hewitt bageled his opponent in the first set today and he's retiring in a few months so wouldn't say that is a gauge of a whole lot to be honest.

The first match does not mean a thing. Serena's opp literally could not move. She won a total of 5 points. Serena won more games than that.

well its just our opinions...:popcorn,,we want the best for our favorites.Bencis has to go through her matches and with the way the seeds are falling who knows.
I am very confident of my prediction ....if she beats Bertens then she has either Coco or Mattek and she has good record against them..them probably Aga in 4th rd and she is 8-0..then qtrs who knows it could be Venus ...semis is wide open from the other qtr and then final could be anyone...
#22:popcorn:lolz:

I would go with Halep, she is pretty strong.

I am going to go with Serena upsets herself. Glad she hit the practice court after that match. Those 8 doubles in the first set alone :cover
