"I think people need to get out there and see some of these players out here this tournament because it may be the last time they get to see Berdych, Tsonga and Nadal play," Cash told Sport360.

There are many players who are well over 30 like Karlovic, Federer, Ferrer, Lopez, Kohlschreiber, Muller, Mahut. Lorenzi, Verdasco, Youzhni Lu, GGL, Mathieu, berlocq, Estrella, Stepanek, Becker, Chiudinelli, Beneteau, ...

Michael Berrer just announced his, at 37, which I don't suppose anyone cares about, and Ana Ivanovic just announced hers shortly ago, at 29.

See my above. Rafa has just added Moya to his team, so I'm sure that retirement is far from his plans. However, of Mastoor's list, or other potentials:

Karlovic is going to hang it up at some point, but he's still working that serve and troubling people, so, why? if he still enjoys it?; Federer - NO; Ferrer - he's willing to drop out of the top 10 and still have a decent run...I think he'll hang in for some time; Lopez - Feliciano? No.; Kohlschreiber - No, he's still interesting. GG Lopez: No. Berlocq, Estrella-Burgos, Verdasco, Benneteau: I'd say no.

Muller, Mahut, Lorenzi, Youzhni, Mathieu, Stepanek, Becker, Chiudinelli: I'd put them in the "maybe" column.

Rafa was hardly playing since May, and he said that he isn't ready to play singles yet. I'm sure that he don't want to retire, but maybe he should.

It's obvious that you didn't understand what he said one month ego (not now) After to be for awhile out of the court then to come back is not easy and of course less playing singles which is harder than doubles but it seems (watch the match against Berdych) he is not doing so bad.....

Yes, Rafa just beat Berdych 6-0, 6-4 in Mubadala. I think he's ready to play singles. Or maybe Berdy should retire. :D

The best part is that Berdych played pretty well the second set but he couldn't break the Rafa's serve which has been excellent

I was only able to see live scores. I thought Berdych got up a break in the 2nd, but it's hard to keep track when just watching scores. Were you able to watch it, Carol?

Through As tenis.com, I haven't watched the match either but they make live comments during the match

I don't know what he is looking for, but if he is available, I'm sure you can ask him, no problem. ;)

I saw commentary on some website. You're right. The only break in the 2nd set was that Rafa broke Tomas late. They said that Nadal was looking in great form.

I think what you meant to say is that Federer and Djokovic fans are ready for Rafa to retire. B-):lulz2:

I don't think they do. I think Rafa will have some sort of come back this year.

Let's say the comment about Nadal, Tsonga and Berdych was just cautionary. Who do you really think might retire in 2017?

I don't think any of those 3 will retire this year. In fact, I have no idea who may decide to retire this year because players just keep playing these days. Even Haas who has a job btw (I don't know how many people are aware that Tommy is Indian Wells Masters director after the previous one was fired) asked for a wild card in Auckland, so you go figure.

I agree, and don't see anyone obvious.
