:puzzled

Looks more like he's hitting and f-bombing, than grabbing.

Iph this is childish, then I'm all in. Because I'm as childish as they come. I'll go with...
..."All of the above + Tsonga's groin".

By the middle of the phiphth set, he'll run out of his own body parts to grab. So, he'll have to start on Tsonga. Gotta start somewhere. May as we'll be his groin.

Yes, i do agree this is a great poll - the fun part - i would like to see how he grabs all his body parts - on the serious side - would enjoy seeing Tsonga winning

For once I would rather not see JWT win this one. Much as I like the guy, I see Murray as having a greater chance of stopping Nole. I'll happily sign up for a Fed-Murray final now. That's not to say that I see a Fed procession into the final. Both Dimi and Berd-man concern me... should both of those guys somehow fail to reach the appointed meeting then I would be devastated if TMF doesn't get to the final!

Yeah it's kind of interesting, obviously Roger's chances are way better vs. anyone in the top half than they are vs. Nole IF Roger reaches the final. But if Roger doesn't reach the final then I want Djokovic to win the tournament. So kind of torn on rooting for/against Nole.

Berd Man definitely scares me, I like him but I can do without ever seeing him play Roger again. And it might sound crazy but a semi-serious Monfils scares me more than Dimitrov at this point. Gael has shown signs that he is actually trying and focusing on winning and suddenly we are seeing what he can do. If Roger plays decent tennis he beats Dimitrov easily at this point IMO. Grigor is a year away from becoming something I think.

Not sure but His losers mentality strikes back when he gets feeling getting outplayed. He grabs random body part with every winner opponent hit to show something is hurting him which is most of the time "Drama Act" off course.

There is no obvious answer to Ops question Murray will show Drama Act which is pretty sure.

I really struggle to understand why posters on here watch Andy since they clearly find him so annoying. The cramping in his first match wasn't funny and the only thing that causes concern on hard courts is his split kneecap AND yes he will touch his knee if he's feeling pain. It's a spontaneous and natural reaction.

Perhaps I should saturate this forum with everything that annoys me about Federer, Djokovic etc.

It's hard to believe that some of the posters on here are actually adults. Some are in their thirties and forties judging from their tennis viewing history.

There is no one in the top ten that has as many annoying, infuriating, and just plain comical quirks as Murray. He is the weakest mentally of the Big Four.

So he is absolutely, 100%, without question, FAIR GAME.

Once could also say without those quirks his matches would be as exciting as funerals. The stands for his matches are empty. It is ALWAYS his opponent that makes the match. Thank god for Tsonga coming up.

You confuse opinion with fact. They're not the same thing.

Not sure you're serious or not but quite sure you'll give same response if someone tells you fact "Murray is not GOAT candidate."

Whatever he wrote about Murray's attitude is mostly true, it's matter of fact he's mentally fragile like 12 yo child when gets outplayed.

For saving your time:

You're hater, you've Anti Murray agenda.

Don't show me mirror.. LOL

Actually Monfils match was the toughest for Fed in Cincy. I think Monfils may trouble
Fed again if he gets over Grigor, which I seem to think is highly likely.

I am not so much worried about Bird though.

Andy did very well today. He grabs parts only when the going gets tough. We just
have to redo this for Wednesdy's match.

I think he just grabbed his stomach once in the last game of second set which
is condonable as it was an exciting rally point where Andy put in tremendous effort.

It was abdomen, which I am actually surprised and impressed to see was included in the poll.

@Luxilon Borg - "There is no one in the top ten that has as many annoying, etc. quirks as Murray" - you know Rafa only dropped to no. 2 in the rankings right? :)

And trust Fastgrass to come out with a comment about Murray not being a GOAT candidate.. I mean, what kind of thought process brought you to feel the need to bring that up? Nobody said anything about Murray being a GOAT candidate and nobody in their right mind would, he has two slams!

One last thing - I do find it amusing that people use mental fragility as a stick to bash Andy with but then they'll support players like Tsonga and Gulbis.

Quite confusing really how people are so bothered about a player who hasn't reached a final or beaten any of their favourites in 15 months, but, each to their own...

Murray is "bashed" over the head with mental weakness because, unlike like Gulbis and Tsonga, Murray has blown huge matches on many, many occasions...Aussie Open, Wimbledon, and US Open finals.

Tsonga and Gulbis are inspirational players..and quite frankly a good step down,.of course they will be fragile.

Rafa is far less annoying then. Murray, it is not even close. No phantom injuries, no childish cursing, no shoulder slumping, no bed head...the list goes on....and on..

Mary Carillo, who I despise, actually said something important today when she said. Murray was just looking to go negative when it got tight in the second set. There is no way you make a comment like that about Fed, Joker, or Nadal during one of their matches.

I don't want to get into a slagging match - I was actually being tongue in cheek - but you can't just state categorically who is more or less annoying. I don't get annoyed at his antics, probably because I support him and when he misses a stupid shot I feel as p***ed off as he acts when he's berating himself on the court. I can see how his conduct might annoy others but that's just how he deals with situations in matches. I don't see why it bothers people as much as it seems to though, I think it's silly that Rafa does all the little ticks before he serves, lining up his bottles and so on, but I don't actually care about it and I expect many people find it endearing or don't even notice at all.

With the negative comment at the end, I don't know if you're talking about his tennis or his attitude but I'm assuming it's his attitude - so what if he sulked a bit? He regrouped and won the set so it obviously worked for him, if it is that offensive to you, like Iona says, then I don't see why you watch him play.

Never make a comment like that about Fed, Nole, Rafa? A joke, surely. Did you see Nole's match against Tsonga in Canada, for example? Roger, too, got a fairly hefty sulk on numerous times in 2013 when things weren't going his way. Nadal does it the least of the lot, to his credit, but he has done in the past too. Every player has negative body language at times.

By all means, have a pop at players you don't like, but I don't see how anyone can state who is fair game and who isn't, it's tripe. Every player is fair game if somebody feels like it, and it's just as fair for the fans of any of those players to defend them with a differing opinion.

I wouldn't let it bother you, sid, this isn't really a serious thread, GSM isn't trolling because he isn't pretending to be serious, just a bit of a wind up that turned a bit sour because Murray fans have, unsurprisingly, posted in this thread defending their guy against the waves of criticism being thrown at him by other members.

Besides "bashing shield" you often use to defend Murray is obviously not works in this topic.

Many people have figured out Murray does it frequently when he's losing or getting outplayed. It's obvious it's all "Drama Act" not works as excuse literally in every match he's losing. Nobody is bashing here it's matter fact now Murray fakes it when he's clueless, I don't know what is exact reason.

Did he make it again in Tsonga match?? I didn't watch match but other forums have threads with extensive discussions Murray's Drama Act. I guess he did it again to cover up he was getting flat outplayed.
