1. The incident took place when "dangerous woman" song was being performed by Ariana. Could be some
message here or could be just my imagination.

2. Even forgetting the specifics of songs, they know that most of the audience will be kids and so it will probably
maximize the damage as the kids might not know how to react in an emergency.

I think the target may be chosen deliberately. Last month images of dead children , victims of gassing in Syria, were all over the media. Some nutjob may have been influenced by those images. Who knows, just a theory...
