Conclusions:
Murray is not in title-winning form this week, but if he can fight through these matches he can nick the #2 seeding for New York. Gasquet could certainly beat him tomorrow, if not I am certain of another meek loss to Roger in the semi-finals.

Dimitrov can take one positive from this match - he made David Goffin look like nerves of steel personified. This is a damaging loss for him. Murray was there for the taking and Grigor got scared of the victory, summed up by his wild miss returning Andy's second serve on match point. There's choking, and there's losing two sets after leading 4-1 and 5-2. Dear oh dear. He'll struggle to sleep after that and doesn't even have Maria there to help him out anymore!

I never said he wasn't elite; just not a player I like! I hate that counter-punching crap he does!
