I covered this a couple years back for "Tennis Frontier" as live reporter. It's a fun event in a nice venue. The Stadiums are wide open, the whole place is easy to access, it's definitely a Tennis Haven.
I miss the place and the atmosphere, it's different than New York.
I would love to go again, it's on the list.

What happened to Kiki Mladenovic? She had an excellent start of season, followed with great Clay season and descent grass season but it went down from there.
I think this is the second event in a row where she loses the opening match.

^^ It's called expectation. When she was a virtual nobody, she could beat alot of the top players. Now it's expected of her starting at RG where she was one of the faves for the title and she choked on it after beating Mugu. She hasn't been the same since then.
