Whoa, what happened to Tomic? Saw he won the first set and thought he was crusing and then checked again and he had lost 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to Cuevas.

This pattern happened a lot this year, it is not chocking, rather not enough stamina. He needs to work on that in the off season...Perhaps hire Ferrer's former coach who will run him insane

He also seems to be focussed almost exclusively on Slams, and doesn't put in the same effort in other tournaments.

And that is a big problem. What, is he Federer to focus only on slams?

Steve Johnson continues to play inspired tennis, he defeats Feliciano Lopez 6-4, 7-6.
He is now in a good position to get into the top 32.

Wow. Six of the original top eight seeds are out. Only No. 6 Garcia-Lopez and No. 7 Bautista-Agut are left. What a great opportunity for Johnson to grab a title. He face Garcia-Lopez in the QF.

I'm rooting for Pospisil to get his first title.

I guess all the Spanish fans will be rooting for RBA now. To be honest, that tournament really needs a boost right now. Lopez should have done but he's out so next man up!

RBA is not the only Spanish player left in the event, GGL is also in it.
The most interesting QF will be I think Garcia-Lopez vs. St. Johnson.

Ah, them hyphenated Spaniards. And yeah, that GGL-SJ QF is a big one for both.
