You mean Djokovic, of course. Because he's the biggest threat to Nadal on clay. I can see why you hope so, but his game is rather in tatters. Do you really think he's going to pull it together by RG, which is a few weeks away? I'm guessing you're just hoping so.

Yes hoping DJ peaks just in time for RG.

In the meantime, Nole's old fitter Gepard Fil-Gritsch, with a new nickname Djidji, rejoined the team as well. He is the one who always made Nole taking part in all sorts of physical activities to improve his form, so you could see Nole cycling up the hill, kayak peddling, playing basketball beside playing tennis in last week or so. Even though there was a story alongside each of these episodes, it wasn't just for fun but in order for Nole to get fitter. For example, while riding the bike up the hill, someone was cheering from the pavement "Rip it up Nole, rip it up." Kayaking was to promote European championship in Belgrade which is next month and playing basketball was with a request sent to several Serbian nba players to judge his basketball skills.

I am happy to see Gepard back to the team alongside Vajda, because they are definitely capable of bringing Nole back to the right track. The thing that makes me concerned is that Nole doesn't have long time arrangement with the two, but they agreed to stay together until Roland Garros and then they will see.

Related to this, many wondered if Becker will joined the team as well. Nole said he won't. Also, old physio is now working with Raonic, while Nole has a new one, Ulises Badio .

Unless old Nole joins the team, nothing else will work. :lulz2:
Well, that's kinda mean, and kinda really true. In any case, it's not a magic bullet, so let's see if the comfort of his old team settles his head.

It’s not the head, it’s the elbow. Playing with a lighter racket and changing the serve motion makes a difference. Margins are small at the top.

I remember it took Fed almost two years or so to play with a heavier racket to adjust to the grandpa-ness.

It doesn’t bode too well to be honest, but you get used to the low expectations sadly.

Finally normal draw for Nole in Rome in time for his new world domination.

Boris burnt the bridge when he openly criticised Novak, but since when do we expect anything less from boom boom? Should give Lendl a call imo.

I'd prefer Nole makes some longer term contract with both Vajda and Gepard. Currently he has only agreement with them until RG.
