There is the break for Tiafoe he will go on to win this match, Rublev has been very sub par today
I am off for a run before the womens q/final
Very poor to be losing in straight sets at this stage of the tournament. Berrettini was woeful too.

It's an intriguing match because each has a recent win. Foe has the luxury of claiming his victory on this court last year. Hair dude has confidence from winning in IW this year. Frances could have a letdown. We'll have to see.
big hair dude is gonna cry into his panties he knows he blew his best chance so far for a non Fedaljovic Slam

Well played Tiafoe but extremely flat from Rublev who had loads of chances but blew them. 2nd set TB was a disaster. Wasn't expecting a straights sets match at all same as Ruud v Berrettini.

I am going to guarantee you tonight's match will not be in straight sets. If you lost $$$ today make it all back with a huge bet on that because 100% it is not going to be in straight sets with Sinner and Alcaraz. It will probably be 5 sets. I won't be able to watch most or all of the match because I have to go to bed by 10 p.m. my time which is the same time as the US Open, but it is a guarantee and I have never bet $$$ in my life or no anything about betting. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

All good, only €10 lol. I only do small ones now. No huge bets anymore since Eurovision and RG final. It's a sure fire ticket to the poor house. Can only imagine how many loons lost hundreds or worse thousands thinking Kyrgios was a sure thing against Khachanov or even backing him to win the whole thing. Much better to look for the angle for better odds with small stakes. I won't be watching Sinner v Alcaraz as it starts 2am local time here and could be still going 3-4 hours later but the only bet I care about next is Pegula v Swiatek. Hoping Pegula wins but if she loses I hope it's close 'cos I've a + 5 game handicap to add to her game tally so 6-4 6-4 loss would be fine. 12 games for Swiatek, 8 for Pegula + the additional + 5 = 13 so bet wins. If not, again, it's only €10 but nice return of €53.83 if it wins 'cos the other 2 matches yesterday won. Just one example there. I'd much rather build things up slowly this way rather than lose a ton. For every 5 x €5 or 5 x €10 bet I also get a free one which is handy.

Is it because he is a redhead
Well other Russians that arent Red Heads have similiar tempers Marat Safin, who used to to smash his racquets to a pulp on the court lol! Youzhny used to hit himself in the head with his racquet, maybe at times it is in their genes
My young Italian Sinner is a red head and he has great composure on court

Just watched the end of the Tiafoe and Rublev match as I was on a run

Poor Rublev sitting on his chair in tears, sport can be cruel at times.
Rublev has no one to blame but himself. He still lacks hands at the net. Graphic when he lost said that he is 0-6 in Major QFs, and that only Tommy Robredo has a worse record. 0-7. Surely that's painful, but it's on him. He was out-played today. Frances has really improved in many aspects of his game, most notably shot selection and patience.

Well I dont like seeing any tennis player being reduced to tears at the end of any match, regardless of their H2H in matches or their overall game okay.

I'm not saying I didn't feel bad for him. Hard loss. But he has work to do. Frances has done the work, and it is paying off.

Good thing I wisely chose +4.5 game handicap instead of the bookies default -/+3.5

Bet won. 6-3 7-6. 13 games for Swiatek and 9 for Pegula + 5 handicap = 14. Nice treble. Pity wasn't bigger stake but good payout for €10 to get back €53.83. Backed Alcaraz to win 3-2 also while he was 2-1 down. Great day.

Well.. Rublev was crying and it kinda softened his demeanor a bit.I felt sad for him and this meant a lot to him.He will definitely win in the future. He better stop grunting and add variety to his game because at the moment he is very predictable.
