I watched a documentary about Martina and Chris and how they are really close friends now.

There was only a breakdown of their friendship in the early 80's due to the changing of the guard! Martina was being trained by Nancy Lieberman, an ex-basketball player who drilled into Martina that Chris was the enemy! It worked where MN went on a winning run/streak unmatched by any player since! She was annihilating her competitition, dropping only 1 match in '83 and 2 in '84! She changed the way tennis was competed by way of working out, eating right, and mentally fortifying her game! Lendl did it for the men! Martina began owning Evert in '83, winning 13-14 sraight matches thru early '85, including toying with her on clay in '84! It balanced out later resulting in their H2H having a difference of only 3 matches, 43-37! - https://fiero4251.blogspot.com/2016/11/fan-page-borgnavratilova-70s-90s.html - :fearful-face: :face-with-hand-over-mouth::face-with-tears-of-joy:

They were actually friends back then, but Chrissy was on the short end of the stick so many times that she took some of the losses personally. The friendship deepened when they finally hung up their racquets.

I see Fiero answered your post too.

Yes, though Ons on a HC can be defeated, though I feel she has too much overall experience for Elizabeth at this stage
Watching Mandlik's matches she looks as tiny as me on the court. I doubt that she is and I know she is stronger than me, but put Ons Jabeur on the other side of the net and she is going to look tiny.

Its funny when you go to a live tournament and seeing players, they can look soo different to watching them on a TV set

Like I just switched to the Kasatkina and Dart match. Dart looks like she is only a couple years older than me when actually she is 12 years older than me. I will be turning 15 on the last day of 2022.

Daria Kasatkina is sent home by Harriet Dart. This is not good for my draw at all. I had Kasatkina playing Coco Gauff in the SF's.

See what I mean? No serious contender plays the week before a slam unless they are returning from a long layoff. She basically traded those 250 points she won on Sat and that small paychex for the ability to earn way more of each.

I really thought she had what it takes to last awhile. I guess she was pretty tired from a few days before.

Daria Saville is another one of those players who could be on a first round exit trip home after doing well in the previous tournament.

I have a question about the draw prediction contest or whatever it is. Is that a separate site from this one or is it tied to this site? The reason I ask is the WTA draw is not updating the draw when a player wins. The ATP draw is updating. I was just wondering if this is just a normal thing for those who have participated in it before. Thanks
