Barbora does have a day off...I will be interested to see what the breathing problem was about,it did not affect her play
Barbora will play Sabalenka in the q/final

Let's face it, she had Mugu. I think she had some problem, but muscled through. It was up to Garbiñe to ignore the drama and try to get to a 3rd set, but she couldn't.

Nah..it's a difference between an injury and a player abusing the time limits.

Krejcikova is getting treatment and will not be doing press tonight
Still do not know what 'the actual problem was".

Muguruza kept it brief,

"Listen,I don't want to talk about this.It's..I'll let you guys judge what you think about this"
"Well I think, between players, you know a little bit how to behave in certain moments and, yeah,I wasn't very happy at the end of the match".

Muguruza did tell Krejcikova at the net ...It was unprofessional, after Krejcikova said to her I am sorry.
I dont think Krejcikova will be on Muguruza's Christmas Card List in 2021:)

Muguruza and her team main complaint against Krejcikova, was she was too slow, she took her time to get her towel, then when it was time for Muguruza to serve again she was toweling down. The rule is you must always play to the pace of the server and be ready in return.

A Quote from Krejcikova via WTA,

Garbine started to raise her level and I was expecting that.At the end I was really struggling and I feel really bad right now.I don't really know what happened but I couldn't breathe.I started to feel dizzy and the whole world was shaking. It never happened before.

Quote on her next match against Sabalenka,

"From what I remember I played Sabalenka last year in a 3 setter. She plays extremely well, she is really fit,and has a huge game. It's going to be extemely difficult and I hope I can recover and be ready to play".

Shame on Garbine for doing that. No one knows what was happening with her, but whatever it was, I didn't see gamesmanship. It's not like she has a habit of doing this. She shouldn't have called her unprofessional. If she was really that slow and out of time, then she should have said something to the chair so they could get involved. It's her own fault she didn't seize the opportunity when she saw the girl was struggling. Continuing to donate points isn't going to win you the match. And then get salty because you couldn't capitalize. I didn't really like her before, I'm even less enamored now. She didn't care about her opponent at all. Didn't ask if she was OK or anything. Other players have come around the net to see about their opponent, even help them get to their chair or gather their personal belongings.

As for Babs, I've seen how she plays when focused. She goes into lockdown mode and won't miss. Just ask Sakkari and Pavs from RG. I hope she's OK and is able to play in the QF.

I totally disagree..KS please watch the last 3 games of the match and put yourself in Mugu's shoes. The ref started the service clock extremely late. Listen to the analysts , they're all knew what was going on. I'm not saying Babs is a Villian but to knock Mugu comments is not fair. Mugu is a competitor. Babs obviously had an anxiety attack but she has to still has to play at the pace of the server. If I was Mugu, I would have served the damned ball .what Babs did was low rent. IMO

I did watch the last 3 games. If the ref started the clock late, Mugu should've said something to her. I can completely knock Mugu's comments. You calling her a competitor is a joke. This is the same girl who told her coach on court that she didn't want to be out there playing. She's just like you, making assumptions w/o knowing all the facts. You don't know if she had an anxiety attack. And let's say she did have one, wouldn't the anxiety be over once the match was finished and she won? The girl had to be helped off the court afterwards.

The chair obviously didn't enforce the rules..I don't know why he didn't. He gave Babs a competitive advantage which wasn't fair to Mugu.. That's why Babs sat down and had a break down afterwards, she knew what she had done. However, she won the match and let's move on. No congrats from Mugu or myself.

Mugu did say something to the chair if I am not mistaken..You CAN'T judge Mugu about what she said in previous matches. That is mutually exclusive of whatever transpired last night. Last night match should be treated independent of whatever previously occurred in her career. Yes I am not a medical professional but I have played the game competitively in college and USTA league tournaments. I have seen a player suffer anxiety attacks before. I once saw one of my opponents crying in the locker room afterwards a league match. I didn't approach the man because I know it may have been humiliating for him and I turned away to not embarrass him. So yes, KS I have seen it before.

Drama evolving between Bencic and Swiatek 7-6 - tiebreak 14-12 and time 84 minutes 5 setpoints to Bencic and 4 to Swiatek

In the end Bencic had her game under control so now in the quarters after splendid play - well done

Just quickly my take on Krejcikova I feel she had a 'panic attack' reading the quotes from the WTA
Garbine had the right to complain to the umpire if she felt she was too slow, when Garbine was about to serve, though she did not.
When I was watching the match Krejcikova was having breathing issues even before she called the trainer.I do not think this was a case of 'gamesmanship'.I have had panic attack's when I was younger and it is horrible,I thought I was dying as I could not breathe.
I hope Krejicikova will be okay to play Sabalenka.,she does have a day off.
