Kerb needed to win this in straights. She made the same mistake Naomi did, she let the gal hang around gain belief and confidence in the decider

Fernandez backs up her good win over Osaka, now Kerber and will play Svitolina in the q/finals
Which I hope she wins,Elina's play puts me to sleep, thank goodness we were spared Kerber v Svitolina match up :)

I have a question: If the Majors are happy to find parity by putting women's matches sometimes end of night, and by having men umpire women's matches, and female umpires do men's, how is it that the men's final is always on the last Sunday? Don't you think we could alternate? It's not like you're going to sell more tickets on a Sunday than a Saturday. Or that you will get more eyeballs on TV on Sunday. IMO, it makes the men's championship seem more important if you put it last. Wouldn't it be OK to alternate them?

No.. dear Sis.. unfortunately it's still a Man's world. ( The Godfather of soul said it not me )..

Also .the theater for a best of 5 is better than 2 of 3 henceforth the reason the Men finals is the main match for the Sunday finale.
