Don't know Mox. The trainer came out and talked to him at the change of ends. The next thing we know he walks up to the chair and said he was done after playing a few points.

Carlos seems to have injured his leg. There was a lot of tape on it, he called the trainer during a changeover, then played a bit before retiring.
Maybe those 5 set matches caught up with him,yep his leg was taped up

This whole primetime session didn't live up to any kind of billing. The ladies match was terrible and they didn't have an injury to excuse their lack of great play.

I never knew Uncle Toni speaks French...:) apparently FFA and Toni speak French to one another
We posted at the same time. It's very generational in Spain, and it has to do with Catalan being related to French. Toni's generation studied French, Rafa's studied English. Rafa speaks better English than Toni does, by far, but Toni speaks far better French. I've seen Toni interviewed in French. He's FAR more comfortable in French than English. Which, if you think about it, is another reason that Toni took on Felix...they could communicate in French.

Toni Nadal knows how to put together a very good strategic plan for Felix to be able to execute on Friday.Let's pray he does and can continue to play his best.

Carlos Alcaraz, says he had a "right adductor' issue and found it tough to recover after consecutive five set matches, which he is not used to playing.
"I had no choice (but to stop) playing.I mean, first of all I have to to care of my body,to still healthy,no?".
