I see this thread has 21 views and 0 replies. Maybe everyone, like me, was hoping to see how someone else picked first? This seems a hard one. Easy to imagine several possible scenarios. FAA with more experience at the higher altitudes, but also with more pressure? FAA in 4 or Alcaraz in 5? Hmmm.

Exactly. It’s a hard one to predict, because Alcaraz has become such an X-factor. A predictable unpredictable, perhaps. FAA is playing better than I’ve seen in a while. He seems determined to excel in front of Toni Nadal. But Alcaraz has shown an incredible level. I defy anyone to show me their draw which had him getting to the R16. I’m going with Alcaraz in 4.

I will go with whomever Toni Nadal choices. Seriously, I can't call this one either way..I wished it was a final. It really depends how FAA protect his service game As much as I like FAA, I can't watch the match by rooting against Baby Rafa Carlos Alvarez. It's something about Carlos that is so likable. I'm truly conflicted about this match.

FAA in 4 sets. I feel this is his time to show what he is made of and that this time he will deliver. Haven't watched Alcaraz so far, but understand he is surely capable of wining this match too.

Any last minute predictions or thoughts on this one? I still think it’s a hard one to call. Could go either way.

Last night I voted Felix in 4. I'll stick w/ that, but I can see the kid giving him a run for his :heavy-dollar-sign:
