Let me say this straight, do you think that after to win two GS in one year and at 35 years old if he wouldn't feel healthy and 100% he would take the risk to play this GS at 5 sets and knowing that he could get worse and it could be the end of his career?. Playing against Frances he made 17 aces which means his back is OK.

No, it doesn't, Carol. It means his opponent didn't return 17 serves. Are you even watching? He's not moving well at all. He's 36 btw and a back injury will not be the end of his career at all. He's had this many times before. He won't win this tournament but it's nothing serious enough as you're making out.

Puppet Master & Federberg -

Please tell me you two didn't really think Dimitrov had a shot at this sucker? It's not even that Dimitrov is a headcase...which he is. His biggest problem is that he just DOES NOT have other gears. What he starts the match with - that's all he's got. At most - 3 gears. The Big 4 - have 5 or 5 gears. Roger is currently seems to be playing in 2nd gear against Youzhny or his back is jacked up...but that's beside the point...

Would you say the same thing when he was playing Rafa in the SF at AO this year?
Look, everyone knows calling him baby Fed is basically crazy at this point. Perhaps embryo Fed is more appropriate with that one Cincy title.
However, his talent is undeniable. The gears you talk about, he just didn't give a damn today. But with this depleted field, he had a genuine shot. I would at least give him a nod in the eventual final vs Querrey lol

Roger is going out to Youzhny...
I am about to cry.
Fu€k this, honestly...

Who in this goddamn draw will be in the final?
Agut vs Querrey?????
If that were to happen, a rip in time-space contiuum would form and devour every tennis event one by one...

One thing I've noticed when Roger's injured is that he starts wiping the sweat off his face a lot more often and head down all the time, knowing full well it's not gonna end positively. You can see it a mile off. This is it right here, I reckon. Game over, man.

Ever since that 5-4 game in the 2nd set in which Federer tried to serve for the set, everything has fall off.

So according to Roger's fans he only can play bad if his is not 100% healthy? I think Roger coming back after 6 months off has done more than enough winning two GS and some MS which is amazing but don't pretend that he can do it again and again even being healthy, hard to believe

No, he can play badly fully healthy too obviously as anyone can, but if you think he's moving well you need your eyesight checked. He's not moving well at all. Normally he glides along the court and now he's not moving to balls at all often here and you can see when bending for low balls that he's compromised. He's also hitting loads of balls long too which is a sign of desperation trying to end the points 'cos he can't keep rallying with compromised movement. It's not like when he's healthy, serving and moving well and hitting winners when in position. Here he's going for them out of desperation and it's obvious. Even if he miraculously wins this (he won't imo), he's gone next round or thereabouts anyway.

I've watched a few games and he does not appear to be moving to balls as well as he has been earlier in the year. When he's reaching for running forehand she and sailing them long, it's a clear indicator (based on his history).

17 aces does not mean he is well. He is not playing well at all. He seems to be having difficulty moving. I hope he goes home to recuperate.:sleep2:

I haven't said he is playing well, he is not playing well and that happens to anyone anytime but it doesn't mean he is not healthy

By just watching the match you should be able to see he's not moving well.

Fed has dropped two sets. He has to win this one and the fifth. If he gets a second wind he just may pull it off.

Further proof how blind you are no offense. Fed isn't moving at all and serving barely 100 MPH
