Can you believe it? Tim Smyczek the last US boy standing and about to reach the 4th round. Fascinating stuff.

The mad doctor shows up and kicks something. Down 5-2 in the 3rd set

There is hardly anything more entertaining than a Youzhny meltdown

Didi,
It's not mine. I can't take credit for that one. That is courtesy of General Clay Death.

Tommy's going to have to dig deep to pull this one off. (And, PS, on Tennis Channel, Blake has moved smoothly from player to commentator. Good luck to him on the next part of his career.)

I noticed that too Mox. He's great as a commentator. A breath of fresh air.

Sousa gets a game! And Tommy goes down double-break.

Quick. Somebody get Sousa a burger and some cheese fries for the next changeover. He is way too skinny. No wonder he only has one game, po thang needs more energy.

No, he somehow beat Dimitrov in 5. Kind of shows how much work Dimitrov needs to do.

They should switch to the other matches, no need to see Djoker devour this bug.

Did Sousa get walkovers in the first two rounds?

He beat Dimitrov and Nieminen. Now he's facing a buzz saw... he's not playing badly just completely outplayed.

Granollers-Smyxezzzhecckkk (sorry) going into a 5th. And Tommy seems to have gotten one break back. I kinda wish TC would switch over to a more competitive match. This Sousa beat-down by Novak is not that interesting.

Youzhny wins. And does the oddest salute in tennis.

I love that celebration. I like Youzhny but I don't really know why. Really glad he put Haas out.
