That's the problem with slams: there's too much tennis! ;) Sometimes 6-8 matches being played at once, and you want to watch at least 2, if not more.

Caro in command of the second set, she won first set 6-3
Trailing 2-5 Petko will serve to stay in match.

Well done Caroline. Positive, aggressive, good serves, good netplay, stronger forehand - yes Caroline 2.0 is up and running better and better:clap Time for a Carlsberg:cool:

Well now she can focus on doubles since that seems to be so important to them.

K,
Don't take this the wrong way, but in a couple of years, that may be all they have.
It's a good thing.

Williams sisters won first set 6-2, ahead 3-0 in the second.

can't believe serena is still ok with playing doubles..at nearly 33yrs old it cannot be sensible, needs to save energy for potentially tough singles next week.

..oh yes, halep lost in straights..bit of a surprise.

do you ever try to follow the scores on slamtracker ?..all the scores changing as you gawp at the screen whilst feeling increasingly dizzy. :)

Come-on Roger, get rid of the serve tower and let us hear the screamer.
I wanna see Sabine, I wanna see Masha.
Bring it!

So So happy for Mirjana Lucic, I hope she can get to at least quarters, hopefully at semi's!!

Sara will make pasta sauce out of her come Sunday!
Sara is not the type to who would led opportunities like this go by.
And she is 1-0 against her.

Simo turned into a sheep from a lion
 :(

That can change from game to game.
Caro up 5-3 in the opener, Petko serves to stay in the set. Caro has 3 beak points, threatning to break at love.

No its not. Thats the problem exactly, that it can take months and years to change.
When player gains or loses powers it can take a long time to change it. I understand your desire to be entertained but its not working that way.
Caro needed years to do a real come back.
Simona needed 3 years to start her breakthrough.
Genie is in crises since Wimbeldon, maybe Sorana will get her out of it.
Sorana havent won a valuable match for a year.
And so it goes. Who knows when my player will get her powers back if at all.
Simona is in a real crises. It happened because she became too much meditated and robotic and lost the natural instinct of competing.
The basic natural instinct in sports is the fighting spirit. Lose that and you are in a serious trouble.
She is in a serious trouble now. It wasnt just another bad day in the office.
A year ago she made an amazing mental change, and in last months she changed in the wrong way.

I have no clue who wins but I admire Errani for her fighting spirit and mental stability.
So many like to hate Errani but I have nothing but respect for her.

I miss Serena and Jennifer Capriati matches. Now there is a rivalry that has seemed to have disappeared from talk. Everyone always brings up Justine and Venus when it comes to Serena and rivals, but I think Jennifer was her best rival. Those were matches where you usually did not know who was going to win. Talk about some animosity toward one another.

If she goes on with "having pleasure on court" then she is finished. She can be very stubborn and insist on that, so who knows what happens with her next
You can not order pleasure. She lost touch with reality and I say that for the last months, not for the last hours.
