Turdasco sauce seems poised to blow a 2 set to 1 lead vs. Kuznetsov

This means one more danger is out of the path of Andy.

Andy - Nole quarter final match, as cruel as it is , will happen I think. And whoever wins should have an easier semi.

Tsonga might have something to say about it though.

Raonic is safely through to the 4th round now I guess. Can't see his opponent winning their encounter.

Milos is bringing serious heat in the 4th set TB. Wins it 7-3. Sweet revenge.

Gojo is a player though. He should be a top 50 player, not 124.

That is my point too. He plays like a douche against average players and brings on the heat against top 10 players: Nadal, Raonic, Tsonga. This is unheard of. Usually is the other way around.

^ Gulbis is guilty of that too. Federer plays Groth next, the holder of the world record serve speed of a whopping 163.7mph. Hopefully won't see many/any of those :D

Didn't see much today, but I note some results:

Robredo needed 5 to take out Bolelli

Verdasco out in 5 at the hands of Kuznetsov

Kyrgios continues his run, taking out Seppi in 3

Borna Coric's run ends, taken out by Estrella Burgos in 4

you cannot overlook Tsonga at this current stage. That will be the match of the R16.

Victor Estrella Burgos who defeated Coric, made the headline on the ATP Tour site:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2014/08/35/US-Open-Thursday-Estrella-Burgos-Into-Third-Round.aspx

He writes a lot of history on his own for the sports in his country: First Dominican in the top 100, first to ever play a slam this year at RG and here is now in R3 at the USO.
All this at 34, after he turned pro at....26!!!
:clap
