not to worry Nick. You got your first set off him, and had plenty bps... next time you'll cross the Rubicon and confound the ill-wishers

This is already a big victory for Nick. He was on court for more than 2 hours and was not fined. :snicker

Considering that he had a late night party last night due to which he could not get enough sleep and catch up on it during changeovers, he played really well.

15 seeds win! Hewitt, too!

Simon is the only seed to lose today. 4 more players retired today to make that 10 from the 1st round alone.

Second quarter is for takes between Tsonga, Girgor and Cilic (with Kei gone and Ferrer coming back from injury issues). Who do u think will take it. I think winner of 3rd round match between Grigor and Cilic will take it.

Fish was rumored to play doubles with Roddick here and I don't see their names in the doubles draw.

What did Murray do; get lulled into complacency thinking Nick would donate the match? So ridiculous for Murray and Nadal losing those sets! Hanging by the backstop just allows "slash and burn" players to extend them so unnecessarily! You see Roger closing out everyone ASAP; makes sense for his age! What about that? :cover :nono

Coric and Nick the prick are far more tricky opponents than Mayer whom Roger faced IMO.

I pick the defending champion. This surface suit his game really well.
