Well I wasn't impressed with either Halep or Maria Sharapova in their first rd matches
Both players will need to improve going further into the USO.

I am telling you, this could get tricky for screamer. Screamer wont have any mental advantage over Dulgheru. If Alex gets a good day, it can get messy because screamer antics will play into Alex hands. Alex likes to play the player if you know what I mean.
The question will be Alex level of play, but that balances itself with the DFs on the other side
Its one of those matches who look much easier than what they will really be for screamer.

I never saw Dulgheru play, but given her ranking of 100, I am not optimistic she can do much. The screamer will not be tested until she faces Woz or Petko.

She is injured in last 2-3 years most of the time. Tough mentally with lots of experience and maturity. If Screama has an off day it will be interesting.

I was VERY impressed with my Simo in the last 2 sets of the match. It was great seeing her using fight as a tool.
She brought "sexy" back I am now more optimistic than before the match!
Her level in last set was 3 levels higher than 1st set. She got it (understood her loses lately).

If Maria wins next round and Sabine does the same, they face each other first before anyone else.

Kui, the reason why I never believe Lisicki to be a factor except at Wimby is because she is so wildly inconsistent. She can't keep the ball in the court. I would be shocked if she won enough to meet the screamer, and if she did, she would beat herself, dooming tennis viewers to more blood-curdling screams.

Mashfan, do you play tennis? If you do and think listening to loud screams every three seconds throughout an entire match is not cheating, you are one in a million. I have responded to you in the past, and will not waste my time doing so again. You are beyond reason.
