Good God,
Garcia (7) who is defending SF points at the USO, loses the 1st set 64 to Y.Wang who is ranked 114#

Good 1st set from Jess Pegula 62 over Giorgi

Remember what I said about late teens or early 20s players like Holger they feel they're invincible
Well Coco's coaches should have spoken to Coco before agreeing to play mixed doubles, I know Coco has played with Jack before in mixed doubles, also he is retiring this year at the USO, still a bad idea just my opinion

Coco is a grown up woman now ..a millionaire is going to feel she is invincible and most likely was going to play regardless of what her coaches suggested

Of course at the end of the day it is up to a player, still I think playing singles, doubles and mixed doubles in 2023 is too much, it is not the 70's remember lol!

Here is another player that 'needs to take a break from tennis'
Y. Wang Quailifer defeats the No 7th seed Caroline Garcia last year SF at the USO, 64 61
Garcia will probably leave the Top 10 with this defeat, she also has WTA finals points to defend at the end of the season

Parks should be able to beat Pushakasatkina

It looks like they're playing the match at a public park..it's in(court #6) the middle of all the other bigger courts..way too much traffic to concentrate IMO. I think Parks just had to motion to someone to be quiet

Just looking at the mixed doubles entry list,

Jessica Pegula also playing mixed doubles with Krajicek USA, they are the No 1 seeds

Clara Tausen had a break in the first set against No 27 seed Potapova, broken then fought back to force a TB in the 1st set and won 76(4)

Siegmund postmatch interview was laughable, she said the crowd was unfair to her.She doesn't even realize that she was being obnoxious out there on Ashe.
Potapova started the year well, and now she seemed to have fallen off the wagon.
