BTW I read that Gilbert wasnt too keen on Coco playing her doubles match today maybe because of the hot and humid conditions, seeing she has her SF match tomorrow night

She is just as good as Sabalenka when she is on.Remember she reached the final at this event and staged a comeback to beat Osaka. If she starts like she did her last match..yes she will have a chance.I just have a feeling that the winner is going to be Coco.
That's it's We haven't seen that Maddie that stage the comeback vs Osaka since 2019 Cincinnati

Why don't these people hydrate properly if they are going to attend the Open in these hot conditions (and no, booze is not a proper hydrating tool)? I've been there and when I went I brought frozen water bottles and mixed in a pack of EmergenC

5-0, saving BPs. She can’t lose focus, though, as she’s done before at critical moments.

Keys seems to have a team backing her behind the scenes, like Lindsay and Evert her former coach.I hope Lindsay did good scouting on Lenka.
