My favorite mixed doubles players Townsend/Shelton win the 1st set in their QF match over the 7th seeds Schuurs/Nys 64

I noticed that Townsend has a coach,she should have found one long time ago.Alycia Parks has the potential to be very good,and all she needs is a good coach.

I lost connection I hate my computer!

Saba playing the first match since she knew that she will be the new No 1 easily beats Kasatkina 61 63 to reach the QF for the 3rd consecutive time
Saba lost just 16 games in four matches so far in this tournament

Well, look what she knows, all of a sudden. Maddie is still in it! And she has made a final here.
It's not all of a sudden. She reached the QF of Wimby after winning a warmup

She should by now have gotten over that quite frankly
Zheng will now serve for the match again at 5-4, I hope she dosent break herself again
I don't think she's over it. That was 2 consecutive chokes where she was the fave. It could take awhile to live that down.

I questioned her decision to play so many events as well. The sport is too physical these days for someone to play that much. Or at least not that much, and expect to win multiple events. Very rare.
@MargaretMcAleer

I finally have the answer to this. I saw an interview w/ ESPN she did. She hates to practice on her off days/ She would rather play a doubs match. Thus why she plays doubs and mixed. Dumbest idea ever, but it's her methodology

Cmon, I didn't have to convince you. She is a scrub and you know it. I applaud her effort of getting to the QF, but didn't she get there at Wimby and then ungracefully bowed out in SS.
Yeah but I was in too deep with Maddie, but you came in Big Sis and said my brotha this ain't the woman for you. Let me find you another one..So I listen and ran to Rybakina
