The funniest state of the match is the following.

Bianca won more points at the net than TT despite coming forward much less often.

TT 16/40 = 40%

BA 17/26 = 65%

That got to sting for TT.

TT should have abandoned the S&V.. she was competitive during various stages of the 2nd and early part of 3set..still great run for her and nice payday increase..

Just finished watching Bianca's match.....she will have to take care of her 2nd serve which was shaky in that 2nd set and also try to contain her emotions when she plays Mertens in the q/final who is a aggressive player and made quick work of Ahn in her match earlier.All credit to Taylor in the 2nd set,she had more overall control of her game.Bianca righted her game in the 3rd set and played with more control,I knew she would find it hard to get any rhythm from Taylor.

Taylor who played qualifiers here at the USO has had a great tournament,defeating Halep along the way.I hope you use this as a platform Taylor for the rest of the year and the confidence and belief in yourself continues to grow.Well Done!

Bianca well done making your first q/final in a GS event,I love watching you play!

Well after I went to bed it looked liked Taylor came alive for a bit, but Bianca was too much for her in the 3rd set. It must have been a good match overall and I wish I could have stayed awake to watch it all.
