Mugu is a headcase. She reminds me of Safin in the amount of talent they both possessed and didn't use it effectively for very different reasons.

Watched some of both. Cibby played aggressively and Kerbie resorted to her defensive game which didn't work out today. She's had trouble with Domi before so no surprise she lost. Garcia is a bundle of nerves and CSN kept the ball in play and allowed Caro to implode.

I usually think Chris Everts commentary is usually so pedestrian but she had a point that Cibulkova simply outsteadied Kerber who had no answer. Counterpuncher’s worst nightmare.

Players like Halep and Kerber are true enigmas! I keep telling the layman how good they are, but they disappoint all too often and it's inexplicable! Cibulkova shouldn't be out-steadying any of the top players! She's never been part of the elite; more in line with an "Arantxa Sanchez-V." with a little more punch due to racket technology! Without even seeing the match, I'm sure Kerber just had too many UFE's and she donated it more than lost it! :whistle: :cuckoo: o_O
