Luidmila Samsonova won her 4th career WTA title at the Toray Pan Pacific Open, defeating the talented teenager Zheng 75 75.
Samsonova did not drop a set all tournament, she will rise to a career high ranking just outside the Top 20 on Monday.
Zheng, despite her loss, she became the first Chinese teenager ever to reach a WTA Singles final, on Monday she will become the first Ch inese teenager (18) to crack the Top 30.
