Stop crying folks. It is not even two months, not even 1.5 months long. It is
exactly 6 weeks long. Moreover, I am pretty sure that there are at least 6 exos
in the mean time to cater to addicts.
I doubt anybody is seriously sad about the off-season. As I already said the tennis off-season is merely a quickie compared to other sports like the NBA or NFL. In fact being a huge wintersports nerd, let me tell you I'm well aware of what real off-season torture means as my two favorite winter sports (alpine skiing and skijumping) start in November and end in February. That's a 10 month off-season in which you almost start to forget what happened the season before.
This is just a fun thread and I thought it was a good idea to have a thread to share our activities and experiences and having a bit of fun during this time of the year. It is certainly much more interesting than the never ending rehashed weak competition talk episode XXVIII that we usually get during off-season. I am sick and tired of it, so why not having a bit fun instead? Thanks for all the responses, really enjoyed and appreciated all of them and keep them coming.

p.s. You know what I do in off season. See my other thread.
Maths? Yeah I guess there is no better way on earth to spend the holidays.
Seriously, being a stats nerd I do like that. I am currently trying to create an accurate ELO rating for tennis similar to chess where it works brilliantly. Still trying to adjust a couple of things for slams and masters a finding a fitting K-factor and starting point (1500 so far) which I haven't quite figured out yet. In my trial version Nadal and Djokovic were still comfortably #1 and #2 but at the same time I had Wawrinka on #3, Youzhny inside the top 10, Hewitt inside the top 20 while Fed, Berd, Delpo and Murray were all outside the top 15 which is odd and I guess it's due to my inaccurate k-factor. I'll pick up on it again during Christmas. Lots of patience and fine-tuning required.
