Well i just thought a caveat as to what a “threesome” means to The Deep. ;)
Lol! Don't go giving away spoilers. It's rare for scenes to shock me in films these days. That one certainly had an impact! :D

There is a show for those who have Netflix that is really kind of a teen show. Well not kind of a teen show it is a teen show, but it is narrated by John McEnroe. He adds a lot of funny comments and even comments that reference tennis into the show. For that reason you all may want to give it a chance. I know you may not like the teen theme to it, but the John McEnroe narrating it might be up all of your alleys. The show is called Never Have I Ever.

I really love it, but I am a teen girl and the show is really for that group. I think it is funny with John McEnroe though.

I watched an incredible documentary on Netflix called “Tell Me Who I Am” about identical twin brothers from the UK. One of them had an accident and lost his memory — truly, completely wiped out — which put the other in the unusual situation of having to help him fill in his past. But things just keep getting weirder and more disturbing. It’s one of those truth-is-stranger-than-fiction stories.

This is a magnificent show. If you’re into Scandi noir, it fits easily alongside the best of them:

We enjoyed The Peripheral (Amazon Prime). Looking forward to series 2/3 etc etc.

Dead to me on Netflix is light hearted enough
One of the leads, Christina Applegate
(was Kelly Bundy, from Married with children way back..
Remember Al - shoe salesman and Peggy - big red?)
I don't think it was too popular in the UK.
USA and Sweden (where we were living then).
Starting to feel old..

We are slowly getting through House of the Dragon...

I rewatched The Expanse. Being an engineer, I appreciate not just glossing over 0g, that faster than light is never going to happen etcetera.
Big respect to the job they did, esp the battle scenes.
Hoping for series 7..

This is the biggest garbage I started watching in a long time. I don't even know how I got to the episode 6, but that was the end of it for me.

Most definitely. For anyone that likes Scandi Noir this one is a hidden gem.
My wife is Scandi.
Swedish born and bred but domiciled in the UK. She loves the extra growing season length (avid gardener and flower grower) and comparative warmth of South coast UK.
She will not watch many of the cold bleak Scandi and Nordic Noirs!
To many forced snowy mountain marches and frozen lake skating at school, I guess
I lived in Sweden for 10 years, 10 long dark winters. Speak fluent Swedish.

For us both, Norwegian is okay, Danish a stretch and Icelandic - er what, although it sounds like you should understand it.
Finnish is a different language origin altogether - Hungaro.

I love Swedish drama series in general.

We stuck at it and by episode 6 or 7 it got better.
The best part of is that the wife, who refused to watch GoT back in the day, is now fully on board to watch it.

Me, I love a 2nd time around / rewatch..
So, something good came out of HotD

I'm watching Bosch Legacy again too!

The Finnish Deadwind series is pretty good.
I have it in Finnish language - of which I understand about 7 words, and with Swedish subs

Gary Oldman heads “Slow horses” here in the States on AppleTV,. Its about a ragtime team of MI5 rejects, who for a variety of reasons have been exiled to Slough House, a fifth circle from Hell non relevant spy office. They are considered losers and the most mundane and boring spywork is their lot. Of course they get involved in a far reaching case which impacts the top levels of MI5 .

Think “House” in a spy setting and you get an idea. The characters are well drawn out & Kristin Scott Thomas has a typical KST role, an iceberg would be warm in comparison, LOL. At least the 1st season was subversively funny ( and dark) and the 2nd season just dropped.

I liked that show. Read a couple books on the strength of it, they were quite good too. Gary Oldman - very good in everything he’s in really, isn’t he?

Funny, a couple of friends of mine were just telling me how much they loved Mick Herron, the guy that wrote those books. I didn't realize there was a show. Good tip!

Not sure if it was mentioned here, but don't sleep on this. It's an Apple Original.
Starring also Patricia Arquette and Cristopher Walken.

I confess I"m not a hardcore "gamer". However the HBO Max series based on a very popular game, "The Last of us", let's just say I have to remind myself it's based on a video game; the first two episodes were very good and the fleshed out characters viewers can get emotionally invested in.

Which makes the deaths of some people introduced emotionally wrenching

The acting is outstanding, and Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are amazing.
I will NEVER look at the mushrooms the same way.

I'm 4 episodes in, this is good stuff. Thanks for posting it. Now that I'm replying, what was the name of the show that you mentioned a few pages back, I can't find it? I think it was about some virus which swept the earth and a handful of people that survived. That is all I remember.

A bit of a "True Romance" reunion of sorts. Highly underrated film!
Good catch. I liked True Romance, I should refresh my memory, watched it a long time ago. Cristopher Walken in a scene where he talks about how Sicilians were spawned by niggers comes to my mind first. I wonder if because of this scene he was also chosen to do the ''Watch scene'' in Pulp Fiction when he talks to young Butch.
