I've been sorting music out the last couple of days. I came across some records similar to the ones Chris & Mr Zz. shared earlier this year which I was rude about & found something in some of them. I'd just like to say I'm very sorry I was rude, narrow-minded & immature at times.

I came across the Animals version of "Ring of Fire". I think the Animals absolutely killed the song. Give me Johnny Cash anyday.

I also came across Johnny Cash & Jerry Lee Lewis's tribute to Hank Williams. I think Johnny Cash did a brilliant job. I think Jerry Lee Lewis did a brilliant job too & I think Jerry Lee Lewis sounded better singing country than Rock & Roll but I prefer country to Rock & Roll anyway.

I also got a Beatles album when a Tony somebody or other was singing with them. They sung Nobody's child. I like that song. I prefer Gene Pitney's version & the Alexander Brother's version of that song but I still love the song.

You must mean Tony Sheridan. The Beatles (as The Beat Brothers) provided some backup work on various records of his before they acheived fame in their own right in 1962.

Tuxedo Junction dates back to 1940 by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra in full swing during the Second World War. But I'm adding Eddy's 1959 sublime record.

That's who I mean, yes. Thank you very much for the information. My l.p. cover said the Beatles featuring Tony Sheridan. I'm very sorry. I forgot. I've had rather a lot on recently.

O.K. Thank you very much. Long time, no see. It's nice to see you back. How are you? You take care & stay safe too.

As we're in the music thread, I'll keep my comments on topic by stating I'm still sorting music. Today, I've been listening to Rod Stewart & mixed country including Johnny Cash. I've been enjoying myself & having a good sing-along.

If you like Cash, you may like this. It's a cover of Bob Dylan's early song "Girl from the North Country", but this time as a duet with Cash.

I managed to watch this now I've got a new computer. (My old 1 broke down & I couldn't afford a new 1 so I was borrowing my Sister's & her speakers don't work. I've got a very varied, challenging & enjoyable job but it isn't exactly the best-paid 1 but I'd rather have variety & challenges & something I enjoy than something well-paid but monotonous & easy which I don't enjoy.) I really enjoyed it.

In these Corona times we need to be in a better mood. I've found something. The Danish singer Aura Dione singing a Danish country song. I think you'll like it.

Before COrona dancing was a great way to be happy. Let's remember Boogie Woogie and al the steps. Still tournaments in this dance today and you understand why - must be fun to do. Here German Lennerockers with Boogie Woogie queen - enjoy

Lennerockers stopped ultimo 2016 after more than 32 years of playing - here they are in a number from 2000 - High class baby - was ¤1 on Radio Caroline back then
