It's probably because they are pretty. They just seem more "artistic" - the shot is a whole lot prettier.

being i was always sampras fan, graf fan, navratilova stuff - u know -- i always like one-handed...but that never stopped me from making rafa a huge all time favorite for me..they're all with their 'character.' , u know.

aesthetics surely (but that's in our eye -- twohanded can be beautiful too in its own way) -- but more because it's nice to see strength using one arm..
