The Beatles at St Pancras, 28 July 1968...

During their "Mad Day Out" photo session at various London locations , the Beatles stopped at St Pancras Old Church and Gardens. This secluded park yielded no less than nine photo opportunities. These are linked here by video of the present day, as if walking from site to site.

This was taken from the TBRB MOGG vocal track, just before the last "Say the word, love", you can barely hear them quietly rehearsing : simply put up the volume of my vocal isolation and voilà

The Beatles in the recording studio. October 18th, 1964. I Feel Fine (take1).

Norwegian Wood (take 1) by the Beatles

The second song attempted by the Beatles for their "new" LP "Rubber Soul" was recorded on October 12th, 1965. The Beatle's first attempt was a complete version and just fine as it was. Originally titled "This Bird Has Flown" it was changed to "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) when the song was re-made on October 21st, 1965.

The Beatle's first attempt was a complete version and just fine as it was. Originally titled "This Bird Has Flown" it was changed to "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) when the song was re-made on October 21st, 1965. This was the first time the sitar was used on a Beatle's recording, and the first time a sitar was ever used on a pop/rock record as well. A ground-braking piece of history. This changed the music scene quite a lot after it was released. Many rock bands then started to use the sitar on their records (some were good, some not so good), but innovative at the time.

The Beatles in the recording studio (Oct. 13th 1965) Drive My Car

A "day in the life" of the Beatles. This time it's October 13th 1965. On this day the Beatles recorded Drive My Car at Abbey Road. The photos accompanying this video were taken at Abbey Road on October 13th 1965 while they were recording Drive My Car. This is a historical document of that date in history and is a valuable tool for students of music, students of fashion, and historians as well. In this video you will get to see what the Beatles looked like, what clothes they were wearing what instruments they played during the recording of this song, and a little insight into the recording process they used.

The Beatles in the recording studio Sept. 25th & 26th 1968 "Happiness Is A Warm Gun"

This video is from photos taken on Sept. 25th and Sept. 26th. On these days the Beatles did overdubs for Happiness Is A Warm Gun, and re-mixes for that song. Very informative from a historical perspective, and for ,music students, and fashion students alike. See what the Beatles looked like on this particular date and a little insight into the recording studio.

You Never Give Me Your Money - Long Ending

next will be the video comparing the original 1977 John Lennon home cassette of "Now and Then" with the finished 2023 The Beatles studio master, but don't be surprised if the latter gets taken down on youtube.

It;s going to be interesting to see and hear what Peter Jackson's patented AI software can do for similar rough sounding tapes like the August 1962 Cavern Club gig.

Here's the positive side of AI - to clean up old recordings, enhance the original sound, and restore old film.. is really quite extraordinary.

[New 8mm] The Beatles - Live at Washington Coliseum, Washington D.C.

this is a new home movie of the Beatles' first US show at the Washington Coliseum in Washington D.C. on February 11th, 1964. This appeared somewhat recently on the Producers Library website, so diehard fan, AdamBound has synced the Beatles' portion of the film. Enjoy!
