Awww Poor baby. That's bad luck it's mama died too soon. She will grow up and enjoy a good life, I'm sure.

Unfortunately that's very common with birds that they pick a power line and are either killed or severe injured. I found several magpies this way.

A happier vid with flying fox babies being fed fruits. Beats me why in this country, they cannot be referred to as Bats.

Hey folks, hows about a Fox story. This one is somewhere in England and involves a heartfelt reunion of a baby with it's mama. And top marks to young couple who save and took care of he bub and was able to set up the reunion. Wonderful video.

Confused koala ends up in Australian family's Christmas tree

An Adelaide family came home to find their Christmas tree topped with a new, furry decoration after a juvenile koala wandered inside their home, climbed up the plastic tree and sampled the leaves. The family immediately called the Adelaide and Hills Koala Rescue, but co-founder Dee Hearne-Hellon said the group didn’t believe the story at first. After being removed from the tree, the koala was released into bushland nearby.

This was in our news a week ago. Dear Lucas the Penguin has a new quality of life thanks to surgeons and zookeepers at the San Fernando zoo where he resides at. Bless him...

Now , hows about the australian magpie? This one looks a male as it's pure black and white, almost gloss looking bird. Good high camera shot of the magpie feeding it's babies and even with food in it's throat he can still warble.

great camera-work photography on this video.

Just look at how she was inspecting the house, pecking the walls to make sure it's all safe and sturdy construction to the bird's satisfaction! Remarkable !!!

Now hows about these "Rocky Raccoons" (as in the title of an obscure Beatles record :face-with-tears-of-joy:)
Interesting little critters, who usually get caught doing the most insane & mischievous things.

We get a little Butcher Bird that flies into our backyard and sits outside the window singing for bread.

He/She has begun bringing one of their offspring, and it feeds it on the fence.

We're pretty blessed with visiting birds - Lorikeets, Currawongs, Magpies, Butcher Birds, Noisy Miners, Ravens and the odd Ibis. Our place is like a drive-through takeaway I think.

Your back garden sounds like a beautiful place.

Back in 2011, Larry was taken in by the staff at Downing Street, and since then, he's been gainfully employed.
His job? Well, it includes such vital tasks as welcoming visitors to the residence, giving the security arrangements a once-over, and, naturally, ensuring that antique furniture meets the highest standards for napping.
