Update for these Whacky but fun rules!

W: Novak Djokovic
F: Rafa Nadal, Stanislas Wawrinka
SF:Federer, David Ferrer, Berdych, Dimitrov

DH: Gulbis
WC: John Isner

They are whacky! We'll do some refining for the next one.

You don't have to, it's just a different way of playing the same game as I see it. :D

I was trying to leave various possibilities and choices open, since we couldn't work though an entire draw. But a lot of people seem committed to their version of the draw. Well, we'll see how this goes.

For those who aren't paying attention, you may have more options to earn points. You get to pick TWO finalists and FOUR semi-finalists. They can be different! Many chances for points.

Using the WAG and SWAG protocols, here's my best guesses! :snigger

SF: Nadal v. "the DOG"
Fed v. Novak
Finals: Fed & Rafa
W: Fed

WC: KEI
DH: ISNER

Clearly my choices are way more WAG than SWAG, :wave
I can't say I would put any money on them, but sure would like to see them.

Thanks Mox! Now that I'm for all intents and purposes, a spectator, I'm rooting for your dark horse pick to win it all! ;)

While I would get a lot of points for that, I won't be rooting for it, just yet. :)

I didn't expect jumping Kei to be a dark horse but I'm happy for him anyway

I'm happy for Nishikori too. Maybe Fed's prediction will come true.

Since I had to do my math homework on the Women's Challenge, (won by Fashionista!), I decided to do the update on the men's. Very tight race. And, as I have discovered, a very wacky system I invented. For those who didn't pick additional SF-ists, for example, I gave the points when they picked that person to be a finalist and/or winner. Basically, I gave all the points I possibly could. Here's where we are, up until the final tomorrow. I note each person's pick for the winner in parentheses, which will add +20 to their score, if their player wins.

In order of points, then posting:

Rafanoy: 35 points (Nadal)
Denisovich: 35 points (Djokovic)
Fashionista: 35 points (Nadal)

Isabelle: 30 points (Djokovic)
Moxie: 30 points (Nadal)
Herios: 30 points (Djokovic)

Kieran: 25 points (Nadal)
Riotbeard: 25 points (Djokovic)
Anti-Pusher: 25 points (Nadal)
Nehmeth: 15 points (Djokovic) - (* you went bold…you should get extra credit)

__________________________________________________________________

As you can see, if Djokovic wins, Denisovich is our champion; if Nadal, we'd have a tie between Rafanoy and Fashionista. Also worth noting, Denisovich's wager of conceding points is safe, as Andy Murray did not, in fact, get past the QFs.

^ OK, that can be your "prize" for winning. :snigger You might want to do some refining of my wacky rules, though.

And a splendid job of it Moxie! Though the prize for winning reminds me eerily of the Dread Pirate Roberts curse. Still, congratulations Dennis! Keep 'em coming. :clap
